Breathwork

This modality originates from India called Pranayama, which translates “To extend ones lifeforce.” These sessions can range anywhere from 30-90 minutes. The style of breathing is decided between the coach and client based on the individual needs. A free 15-20 minute consultation via zoom is included for first-time clients. Breathwork has been proven to help release trauma, regulate emotion, improve major organ function, and increase overall cardiovascular strength.

I wanted to share my experience with you regarding the live session. I was skeptical as I am with most things. The coaching and prep to remain focused still and quiet in the beginning was key to getting off on the right foot. I struggled to get the breathing down right off the bat, because I have never done anything like before. But once I got it down it was easier to focus.

I want to pause this part of the feedback to share that I have severe anxiety and depression since early childhood and it minimally managed with medication.

Along with your breathing coaching, your deep insights and truthful expression of your own experiences completely put my defenses down and made me feel not alone. The more you coached the more I felt negative feelings release.

Erik did an amazing job of explaining everything we were going to be doing beforehand, as well as what to expect to feel physically and how he would be assisting to alleviate any discomfort.
